I reverted back to the Journalism student I once was at the speed of sound when faced with this project.
To give my head a shake and see the world in all its gorgeous minutiae once again was truly a joy.
Tools used: Olympus D-510 Zoom and Canon PowerShot A20, both digicams.

Water
Aren't macros the best? Real rain on moonflower leaves; no photographic stylist nonsense here.

~2~

You light up my life, baby Light
This lamp lights my favorite Bubble Tea connection in Waterloo, Ontario: the Sweet Dreams Tea Shop.

~3~

Little Things
I've had dreams about this. Rows upon rows of these little gems coming at me with military precision...

~4~

Can you see why I wanted to photograph his feet? Footwear
A guy named Tom owns these feet. If you could see his face, he'd be blushing.

~5~

Symmetry
Millions of multiples in this great big world; I have to go and choose bubble wrap.

~6~

Construction
This backhoe, abandoned on a warm Sunday afternoon, seemed to be taking the opportunity to rest.

~7~

K-K-K-Katie, beautiful Katie Love
Meet my niece Kate. I love her almost as much as she loves her doll Mary.

~8~

You
I'm laughing here because I feel like some sort of '70's porn star, posing with an ice cream cone.

~9~

Food
Luckily, I brought my camera to a lunch date at the new Japanese place in town.

~10~

New
Taken on the 401 West. I only wish one of those new cars was making it's way to me...

~11~

Animal
These little guys live by the pond near the local flour mill.
They were not impressed by the crazy lady with the camera.

~12~

Scape
Easter Island? No! An impressive reproduction, don't you think?

~13~

Sound
A babbling brook, one of your more relaxing sounds.

~14~

Time
Pretty clocktower. Never keeps the right time, but you can't have everything.

~15~

181 kms, but it might as well be a million miles lately Transport
Canadian tax dollars at work: the 401.

~16~

Colour
My best friend's son Danny offered to provide an arty display of his cool new coloured bandaids.

~17~

Signage
I captured this picuture as I sipped my Venti Low-Fat Caramel Mocha in a very ladylike fashion. Ahhh, coffee.

~18~

Numbers
Don't get all judgy because I photographed these barstools from a ground-level vantage; it was all for the cause!

~19~

Empty
The lane to nowhere.

~20~

Sunset
I excused myself from a wedding reception to get this one. If only every one of our days could end like this.

~21~

Weather
I waded into the middle of the stream for this one because I liked the angle. It was one of the last pics I took,
as I fought all month against the urge to take a picture of rain or clouds and be done with it.
The idea of erosion acting as an effect of weather totally worked for me.

~22~

Communication
Effective use of language is not a high priority these days, more's the pity.

~23~

Money
One of my favourite pictures. Some of these coins date back to 1882!

~24~

You're going to be the death of me, you know that right? Monument
Cemeteries make me sad, so I thought I'd turn this category on its ear
and take a snap of monuments that have yet to achieve their destiny.

~25~

Home
We live in a DIY nightmare, 50's wartime home.
My favorite part of the whole mess is the 9' x 22' Tea Room out front.

Authority
I couldn't find the cop on the bike I saw last week again (I almost caused an accident trying to double back),
so I settled for this terse reminder that the owners of some lovely wooded areas don't share well with others.

Thank you for your interest in my photographic perceptions. I had a great time!
